WOBURN, Mass. (AP) — A Worcester man charged with fatally shooting a Framingham man in July has been ordered held without bail at his Superior Court arraignment.
Prosecutors say 18-year-old Christian Castro-Lainez killed 21-year-old Shawn White and injured another man when they came to his home to talk to his girlfriend.
That girlfriend, Margaret Desrosiers, is being held on $90,000 bail for allegedly misleading police by implicating another man and hiding the gun.
Prosecutors said Wednesday the victims went to the apartment shared by Castro-Lainez and Desrosiers to speak to the woman.
Castro-Lainez shot them after a fight.
The MetroWest Daily News (http://bit.ly/1ad2pLj ) reports that Castro-Lainez's lawyer was granted the right to seek bail in the future.
Desrosiers' lawyer sought lower bail, saying his client played a minor role in the shootings.
