Uxbridge woman arraigned after 10-year-old boy hitAP , Associated Press

WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) — A 27-year-old Uxbridge woman police say struck a 10-year-old boy in a crosswalk as he was on his way to school, then drove from the scene, has been held after her bail in another case was revoked.
A not guilty plea was entered on behalf of Gina Amore at her arraignment Wednesday on charges of failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk and leaving the leaving scene of an accident with personal injury. Bail was set at $2,500.
The Telegram & Gazette (http://bit.ly/18y1d88 ) reports she has several outstanding court cases, including drug and traffic violations.
Police say she struck the boy in Worcester as he was crossing the street at about 8:15 a.m. Tuesday.
The boy has since been released from the hospital.
A number for Amore could not be located.
