DETROIT (AP) — Miguel Cabrera has been taken out of the Detroit Tigers' lineup for a second straight game to rest his strained abdomen. Torii Hunter hit third, in Cabrera's spot, Sunday against the Cleveland Indians and Ramon Santiago replaced him at third base. Detroit also kept center fielder Austin Jackson out of the lineup in the series finale, a day after he hurt his right shoulder when he hit the wall trying to make a catch in Saturday night's win. Cabrera started, but didn't finish, his last two games on Thursday afternoon and Friday night because of the lingering injury. The reigning AL MVP and Triple Crown winner leads major league baseball with a .359 batting average and 130 RBIs and with 43 homers, he trails only Baltimore's Chris Davis. © The Associated Press.
