PEABODY, Mass. (AP) — A New York man police say had altered his fingerprints is headed to court to face drug charges.
Juan Leonardo Pena is scheduled to be arraigned Monday following his arrest Saturday near the Northshore Mall in Peabody.
Police seized about $13,000 in cash and cocaine and heroin packaged for sale with a street value of $15,000.
The car also had what officers called a sophisticated drug hide in the radio.
Police tells The Salem News (http://bit.ly/Id3YRo ) they pulled over the 34-year-old Pena's vehicle due to what was described as suspicious activity.
It was unclear whether he had a lawyer.
