FRAMINGHAM, Mass. (AP) — Prosecutors say a Framingham woman tried to get her teenage son to take the fall for a burglary she committed because she was afraid her bail would be revoked in an unrelated case and she'd be sent to jail.
A prosecutor said in court Thursday that 42-year-old Leslie Jaundoo stole $50 and a $1,500 watch from an apartment on June 27, but left her keys behind.
Police tracked the keychain to Jaundoo.
Police say her 15-year-old son confessed to the burglary. The boy later told his caseworker that his mother made him admit it.
The MetroWest Daily News (http://bit.ly/18RNx7P ) reports that police say Jaundoo confessed when confronted and said she pawned the watch to buy crack.
Her lawyer asked that she be allowed to go home to care for her three children.
