WHAT'S AT STAKE
Georgia Tech can erase the memory of blowing a big lead in the regular season finale and losing to rival Georgia in double overtime. Ole Miss had its best regular season since 2009 and is looking for a second straight bowl win under coach Hugh Freeze.
The Rebels' defense against Georgia Tech's offense. The Yellow Jackets feature the nation's sixth-best rushing attack rolling up 311.7 yards per game, and they score 36.6 points per game. Ole Miss ranks 54th nationally giving up 155.2 yards rushing per game, but the Rebels do average 6.5 tackles for loss per game.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Mississippi: QB Bo Wallace. The senior turned the ball over four times in the Egg Bowl, including a fumble in overtime as the Rebels lost 17-10 to Mississippi State. But Wallace, a Tennessee native playing a short drive from his Giles County home, is third in the SEC averaging 279.9 yards offense per game and also has run for four touchdowns.
Georgia Tech: DE Jeremiah Attaochu. The senior is coming off his best game with a career-high four sacks in the loss to Georgia, and he is tied with Greg Gathers for the school record with 31 career sacks. That's the most among active players.
