Man who died at Charlton lake was from DudleyAP , Associated Press

CHARLTON, Mass. (AP) — The man who died at a Charlton lake over the weekend has been identified as a Dudley resident.
The Worcester district attorney's office says the man pulled from Buffumville Lake at about 5 p.m. Saturday was 29-year-old John Barnett.
The Telegram & Gazette (http://bit.ly/11cUs28 ) reports that Barnett had been swimming with his 7-year-old daughter when he started struggling. She was unhurt.
Barnett's body was pulled from the lake by the regional dive team, which had been training just about 10 minutes from the scene. He was taken to UMass Memorial Medical Center.
The dive team is made up of fire department members from Auburn, Charlton, Dudley, Oxford, Southbridge and Sturbridge.
