LYNN, Mass. (AP) — A Lynn man has been charged with secretly video recording a sexual encounter with a woman and then threatening to post the recording online.
Bryan Rauscher was ordered held on $2,500 cash bail after a not guilty plea was entered on his behalf in Lynn District Court on Tuesday to charges including photographing an unsuspecting nude person.
Prosecutors say he used a cellphone to record the encounter, and when the woman got angry, threatened to post it on Facebook.
Police seized two phones from Rauscher.
The Daily Item (http://bit.ly/13MFna3 ) reports that Rauscher's lawyer questioned the woman's motivation. He says she didn't go to police until three days after the sexual encounter because she was angry the defendant did not want to be in a relationship with her.
