WHAT'S AT STAKE
Louisville is looking for its fifth consecutive win on the road and needs a victory to stay in the conference title hunt, a game behind the winner of Saturday's contest between Houston and Central Florida. Connecticut has not won a game since upsetting Louisville, 23-20 in three overtimes in Louisville last November.
Louisville Heisman candidate quarterback Teddy Bridgewater vs. UConn's secondary. Connecticut is likely to have senior CB Taylor Mack back from an injury after four games, but has listed S Ty-Meer Brown as questionable with an injury suffered in practice this week. Bridgewater has thrown a touchdown in 20 consecutive games. The Cardinals rank 11th in the nation in passing, while the Huskies are 103rd in passing defense.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Louisville: Bridgewater. The junior has completed almost 74 percent of his passes and has thrown 23 touchdown passes this year, with just two interceptions.
Connecticut: LB Yawin Smallwood. The junior captain leads the team with 79 tackles.

Louisville is looking for its second consecutive eight-win season after going 11-2 last year. Connecticut has won 10 games since losing in the Fiesta Bowl to Oklahoma on Jan. 1, 2011. ... Louisville's defense has given up 85 points this season, is allowing opponents an average of 80.5 rushing yards, and has forced 17 turnovers this season. UConn, meanwhile, has scored 115 points, is averaging under 77 yards rushing per game, and has committed 17 turnovers.
