STOUGHTON, Mass. (AP) — A Boston man is held without bail on a murder charge in connection with the stabbing death of his ex-wife in Stoughton.
Forty-seven-year-old Willie Foster pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Monday in Stoughton District Court, hours after his arrest in Boston.
Prosecutors said Foster is accused of stabbing 46-year-old Anita Clark. Her body was found in a closet at her home on Saturday.
The Brockton Enterprise reports (http://bit.ly/11ODkBP) that prosecutor Lynn Beland said in court that Clark had been stabbed more than 20 times.
Police responded to her home after friends became concerned that Clark had missed work.
Clark and Foster have children ages 15 and 6 together, but it is not believed they were home at the time of the slaying.
Foster returns to court June 7.
