LOWELL, Mass. (AP) — An alleged drug dealer is facing charges after police say she used her car to ram another vehicle with three children in it because their father couldn't pay a drug debt.
Mary Sorenson of Dracut was arrested in Lowell at about 4:30 p.m. Sunday on charges including reckless endangerment of a child and possession of heroin and cocaine.
Police tell The Sun (http://bit.ly/1gSa83n ) Sorensen met a Tyngsborough couple to settle a drug debt. The couple showed up with children ages 7, 2, and 1, in their car. The father said Sorensen became enraged when he told her he couldn't pay, and used her car to ram theirs.
The children were taken to a hospital as a precaution.
Sorenson is scheduled to be arraigned Monday. It's unclear if she has a lawyer.
