BROCKTON, Mass. (AP) — A Brockton teenager accused of fatally stabbing one person and injuring a second during a home invasion last weekend has been ordered held without bail.
Eric Claudio pleaded not guilty Thursday in Brockton District Court to of murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and armed home invasion and armed robbery.
Authorities say the 18-year-old Claudio stabbed 18-year-old Jonathan Semedo of Taunton during a home invasion at about 4 a.m. Saturday.
Authorities tell The Enterprise (http://bit.ly/11pHjtM ) another victim, an 18-year-old youth from Brockton, was treated and released from a hospital for a minor laceration to the neck.
Witnesses said an altercation in a third-floor apartment preceded the stabbing.
