DRACUT, Mass. (AP) — A bank robber dubbed the Merrimack Valley Bandit appears to have struck again.
Police tell The Eagle-Tribune (http://bit.ly/115zPIg ) a man wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt, jeans and sneakers, with his face partially covered, robbed a TD Bank branch in Dracut on Sunday afternoon.
The suspect bears a resemblance to a man wanted in connection with nine or 10 bank robberies in the region, including one at the same bank about a week ago.
The FBI said last week all robberies, except one, have involved a gun. In each hold up, the suspect was similarly dressed. The suspect is believed to be an 18 to 24-year-old man, between 5-feet-6-inches to 5-feet-8 tall, with a stocky build.
A bank surveillance photo from Sunday's robbery did not reveal if the robber was armed.
