AUGUSTA, Maine (AP) — A Maine man and two New York City residents have been arrested on drug charges in Augusta.
The men were arrested this week at an Augusta apartment.
Twenty-nine-year-old Matthew Jepsen of Augusta, as well as 21-year-old Kenneth Floyd and 34-year-old Robert Lonnie Dixon of Bronx, N.Y., were all charged with trafficking in cocaine.
Authorities say Dixon and Floyd were being held in Kennebec County jail in lieu of $50,000 bail and Jepson on $25,000 bail. It was not clear if they had lawyers.
Agents seized approximately 17 grams of crack cocaine valued at $1,700 and almost $8,200 in cash that is alleged to be proceeds from the sale of crack.
Police tell the Kennebec Journal (http://bit.ly/19WVmKv ) that two children were in the apartment at the time of the search.
