DENVER (AP) _ Montreal center fielder Rondell White, injured Saturday while making a diving catch and crashing into the outfield wall, was placed on the 15-day disabled list Sunday with a bruised kidney. White will remain at Rose Medical Center for the next two days after bruising his left kidney and possibly his spleen when he hit the right-center field wall after catching a drive hit by Larry Walker. The Expos have not announced a replacement for White, who is hitting .300 with three homers and 19 RBIs. He had hit safely in eight straight games before being injured. © The Associated Press.
