CONYERS, GA. CONYERS, Ga. (AP) _ A 14-year-old boy will be tried as an adult on a murder charge in the death of a pizza delivery woman who was shot through a window of his house after an argument over two large pizzas.
The boy, Randy Brooks Dobbs Jr., showed no remorse after the shooting Wednesday and his arrest that night, Rockdale County Sheriff Guy Norman said Thursday.
Carolyn Boswell, 20, was shot in the head after an argument with the teen- ager at his family's front door over a $19.75 bill for the pizzas. Her body was wrapped in a sleeping bag and dumped in the driveway of a nearby home.
''His father and stepmother were at work,'' Norman said. ''They thought he had gone to school as usual. He told us he didn't feel like going to school.''
Mrs. Boswell had returned to work at a Pizza Hut four weeks ago after giving birth eight weeks ago. She was shot with a .357-caliber Magnum revolver owned by the boy's father, authorities said.
The teen-ager was arrested at an aunt's house about 30 miles south of Conyers, Norman said.
The boy had a preliminary hearing Thursday and will be tried as an adult. He faces another hearing Nov. 1 in Superior Court.
